New Britain Council of Catholic Women

The National Council of Catholic Women acts through its members to support, empower, and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership, and service. NCCW programs respond with Gospel values to the needs of the Church and society in the modern world.

The New Britain Council of Catholic Women’s membership is open to women from all Catholic Parishes in New Britain, Kensington, Berlin, and East Berlin.

IN PRAYER:  

• Prayer to Our Lady of Good Council   
• Yearly Rosary held at a member parish
• October Open Meeting    
• Yearly Mass for deceased members
• November Open Meeting

IN SERVICE: 

• Yearly scholarship awards to deserving Catholic graduating students from middle and high schools
• Fundraising for local, national, and international charities

 
IN ADVOCACY: 

• Advocating for rights of the poor
• Speaking for LIFE Participating in Catholic Days at the Capital

• Meet the women of your council
