Welcome!

If you are an adult interested in becoming Catholic OR an adult seeking to be Confirmed, we currently have two programs in place to assist you.

OCIA – Order of Christian Initiation for Adults.

ACP – Adult Confirmation Program.

OCIA – Fr. Raymond meets weekly in a small group setting, beginning in October, with those who want to learn more about our Catholic faith. Sessions focus on the teachings and experience of the Church, and participants prepare to celebrate the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist during the Easter season. For more information, please complete the form below. If you have any questions, please contact Fr. Raymond at 860-828-0332 or frraymond@stpaulkensington.org.

ACP is open to adult Catholics in the Archdiocese who:

  • are at least 18 years old
  • have been baptized and received First Holy Communion
  • never received the Sacrament of Confirmation
  • if married, are in a valid Catholic marriage. (If married outside the Catholic Church and would like to have your marriage recognized in the Church, please contact one of the friars. The convalidation must be done prior to Confirmation, but generally speaking this can often be accomplished.)

Our six (6) session SPRING 2026 program will begin on March 8th. See dates below.

The program will culminate with the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

If you would like more information, please complete the form below. If you have any questions, contact the parish office at 860-828-0331 or ourchurch@stpaulkensington.org.

Meetings will be held at St. Paul from 10:00am-11:30am. The specific location/meeting room will be determined based on the number of people who sign up to attend.

Meeting dates are as follows: March 8 & 22, April 12, 19 & 26, May 3, May 12 – Tuesday @ Cathedral for Confirmation (Hartford).
